BTBA Chairman Geoff Brown caught-up with Ray Arthur, recipient of the 2024 BTBA Chairman’s Award.
Geoff writes: “I managed to catch up with Ray Arthur to present him with the 2024 BTBA Chairman’s Award. Ray was unable to attend the Awards Ceremony earlier in 2024 due to the fact that he was off sunning himself on a sunshine holiday to Egypt!
”I managed to track him down at Shipley doing what he does. Ray was, as he has done for many years, taking his YBC to another Youth Tournament.
“Ray was presented the Chairman’s Award for his fantastic work with Wallasey YBC. Wallasey YBC recently celebrated its 62nd anniversary and Ray has been associated with his YBC for over 50 years. I think we can all agree that this shows an unbelievable commitment to youth bowling.
”Well deserved and thank you Ray.”
