The Yorkshire Handicap Singles took place at Go Bowling Shipley on the 22 & 23 February 2025.
84 athletes completed qualifying, which took place over 6 games, two blocks of three games each block, for total pinfall in one of four squads. The Top-30 bowlers continued into 5 groups of six to bowl a further ‘Group Stage’ of 2 games within their group. The Top-two bowlers in each group then progressed into the ‘scramble round’.
The 10 bowlers who made the scramble were divided into two groups of 5 in a ‘low man drop’ system until just two bowlers remain, 1 in each group, who progressed to the ‘Grand Final’, a one games roll-off to determine the 2025 Yorkshire Handicap Singles Champion for 2025.
The Grand Final saw Olly Stephenson defeat Jolan Byrom 241 – 219.
