The BTBA are pleased to welcome applications for the role Director of Business Development.
As a member of the Executive Council responsible for leading the development of the vision, strategy and policies of the BTBA, specific responsibilities will include:
- To manage the formulation of a Business Development Plan through the consideration of financial priorities and proposals, in consultation with the Director of Sport Development, the Director of Membership Services and the Treasurer.
- Support and signpost the National Council in terms of compliance, accountability and financial in relation to the governance of the organisation.
- Plan financial stability and the most appropriate use of funds with a key focus on increased participation and membership
- To support the Director of Sport Development in the generation of ‘inclusion’ programs.
- Provide regular feedback and commentary to the Communications Manager for inclusion on the website and social media.
- Engage with similar organisations, in terms of sporting and commercial opportunities. To share ideas and find ways to develop best practices to manage and promote the sport
- Highlight potential or actual conflicts of interest and give a lead in their recognition and resolution.
- Give firm strategic direction to the BTBA in the matters of setting overall policy, defining targets and monitoring performance.
- Provide a lead in the BTBA’s accountability for its integrity, effectiveness and openness.
