Note:  The Tenpintour is a Seniors tour with handicap scores.  Total Scores/Total Pinfalls quoted below are inclusive of handicap, however the averages are tournament averages and are scratch.

Stop 7 of the BTBA Tenpintour 2025 took place at Airport Bowl, Harlington on 30 and 31 August 2025.  A total of 95 senior bowlers, comprising 69 men and 26 women took place in this months competition.

Men – Adam Woodyatt – The top 23 men lit-up the scoreboard with a deep red hue due to the number of honour games (scratch scores of 200+) with the number of ‘super-honour-scores’ (scratch scores of 250+) also growing in number.

Mens High Game (also the Stop’s High Game) was scored by this years Stop 1 Hollywood Poole winner Andrew Tapping, a 266 in G3.

Noticeably, the number of senior men athletes with ‘at least four or more honour scores’ is also growing steadily, with this outing’s winner Adam Woodyatt carding a 258 high game in his 3-honour and 1 super-honour set of 1,138 scr + 186 hcap = 1,504 total pins as he took first place.  In 2nd was Richard Parker, winner of the previous Stop 4 Acocks Green, with 1,174 + 294 = 1,468, and 3rd was Tony Imren, with 1,215 + 222 – 1,437 including 4 honours scores.  4th place was taken by Stop 5 Hollywood Poole winner Mark Thompson who carded 1,290 +144 =1,434 1,434 also with 3 honours and a super-honour 256 and 5th was Gary Templar with 1,073 + 360 = 1,433.

Women – Mary Mault – Back-to-back Tenpintour wins found Mary this round celebrating the feat with the women’s high game of 235 scr. in Game 5 and an 1,163 scr. + 126 hcap = 1,289 total including an honour 215 game in Game 4!  2nd place went to Jodi Law with 983 + 258 = 1,241 with a consistent set of scores.  3rd place was Linda Buckland with a varied set of 901 + 336 = 1,237 followed by Sheila Ashton in 4th with 991 + 234 = 1,225 and Carol Brock in 5th with 1,119 + 102 = 1,221.  Carol added 2 homour games of 209 and 222 to lift her set on what was otherwise still a very consistent card.

Other honour scores were recorded by Val Hopcraft with a G3 202, Tracy Van Dyk with both a G4 209 & G5 202 and Hilary Cooke with a G5 209.
