73 senior men and 31 senior women took part in the BTBA Tenpintour 2024 Stop 7, held at Airport Bowl, Harlington on 31 August & 1 September 2024.
SENIOR MEN – Richard Da Costa led the way at Airport, bowling 5 of his 6 games with 200+ scores, to complete his event in 1st place, with a total 1,322 scratch + 186 handicap for an event total of 1,508 (220 avg.) Second place went to Michael Pray with 1,176 / 318 / 1,494 . 196 avg., third place was Nicholas Parry with 1,258 / 234 / 1,492 / 210 avg., fourth Alan Keddie with 1,450 / 30 / 1,450 / 242 avg. and fifth Mark Thompson with 1,336 / 138 / 1,474 / 223 avg.
Mens High Game went to 4th placed Alan Keddie, who also took the event High Game, with a fine 279 game 2, within his set.
SENIOR WOMEN – Sandra Boswell is no stranger to the winners’ circle, taking the Airport Stop pole position with 1,157 scratch + 162 handicap for en event total of 1,319 pins / 193 avg. Second place went to Debbie Payne with 858 / 426 / 1,284 / 143 avg., third place was Liz Griffin with 1,092 / 168 / 1,260 / 182 avg., fourth was Sarah Boyer 1,061 / 198 / 1,259 / 177 avg. and 5th (tied 4th-5th) Lynn Gammage with 1,127 / 132 / 2,159 / 188 avg.
Women’s High Game went to 4th/5th place Sarah Boyer with a superb 256 in Game 3 within her set
