The Open (Adult) Inter county Qualifying takes place this weekend, 7/8 September 2024 in three regions – Southern at Airport Bowl, Central at Stroud Bowl and Northern at Altrincham.
Athletes will compete over 6 games for total pinfall, with 3 games in the morning and a further three games in the afternoon. Men will bowl at 5’s pace and women at 4’s pace. Both southern and central regions will see their women bowl on Saturday 7 September and their men on Sunday 8 September, whilst the northern region will see both men and women bowl on Sunday 8 September.
Finals – for the men the top 3 teams on scratch pinfall, plus last years winning team, Warwickshire will qualify. For the women, top 5 teams in the southern region will qualify, the top 2 teams plus last years winners Northamptonshire from central region will qualify, and the top 2 teams from the northern region will qualify. The finals take place 9/10 November 202 at Acocks Green Bowl.
