Northern Ireland host the Adult Triple Crown this year in the Dundonald Icebowl from the 20th to 22nd September 2024 and a new sponsor for 2024 thanks to Vitality Membership. Teams from England, Gibraltar, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and of course the host nation Northern Ireland will participate as always for the coverted Triple Crown shields.

Team England have a great record at the Triple Crown, winning many times over the years and are the reigning champions after a solid performance last year in Stroud. Hopes will be high and as always we are sending a stacked lineup of talent with a lot of experience.
Singles
It’s a perfect Gold for Brandon Roberts
Starting with 300, Brandon went on to roll 1016 for the Gold with Chris Oates taking Silver and Ireland’s Alan Bride in Bronze. Elsewhere Rob Thurlby placed 5th with 950, Gavin Greaves 6th with 911, Hadley Morgan 10th with 885 and Peter Stevenson in 15th with 814.
Next up were the women and another medal as Jessica Sillis claimed the Silver with 850. Harriet Harmon placed 7th with 745 followed by Nicola Day in 8th also with 745. Charlotte Rathbone was 10th with 730, Gemma Tsappis in 20th with 698 and Elyse Giddens in 22nd with 680.
Doubles
It was another Silver and Bronze in the afternoon as we started the doubles and up first the Men.
Chris Oates fired two 279’s on the way to 1072 and 1897 overall with Hadley Morgan as the pair took Silver.
Pete Stevenson also with a 279 and Gavin Greaves in Bronze with 1878 and Rob Thurlby and Brandon Roberts 4th with 1833.
A fantastic Silver medal in the women’s doubles started Saturday for team England for Gemma Tsappis and Harriet Harmon with 1589. Nicola Day and Elyse Giddens in 5th with 1544 and Charlotte Rathbone and Jessica Sillis in 7th with 1501.
Trios
Trios saw some fine bowling from our men as we claimed another two medals on Saturday afternoon with Silver for Chris Oates with a massive 1008, Gavin Greaves (809) and Hadley Morgan (956) and 2845 and Bronze for Rob Thurlby (979), Peter Stevenson (918) and Brandon Roberts (851) with 2748.
The day was complete with more medals as Gemma Tsappis (767), Harriet Harmon (734) and Jessica Sillis (946) claimed the Gold with 2447 and Nicola Day (743), Elyse Giddens (746) and Charlotte Rathbone (876) took Bronze with 2365.
Mixed Doubles
A great start to the day and Gold for England as Elyse Giddens (787) and Gavin Greaves (805) power their way to the top spot with 1592.

All Gold so far on Sunday as both our men and women stormed the lanes to the Gold medals.

Outstanding performances from all of our athletes in Northern Ireland and two more Gold medals as Chris Oates and Jessica Sillis claimed the All Events Gold medals and a fine Bronze for Rob Thurlby.
Chris averaging a fantastic 247 with Rob averaging 237 and Jessica 220.
