A great turnout of 85 men & 36 women met at GOBowling Dunstable, between 1st & 3rd of March 2024 for the second stop of this years Tenpintour.
Men – Steven Bose headed the men’s division with a ‘full house’ of 6 x 200+ games as he took the win with 1,360 scratch + 156 handicap for 1,516 total. Second place went to Sukky Gill with 1,362 / 132 / 1,492, third to Barry Knox with 1,265 / 228 / 1,493, fourth to Robin Skinner with 1,194 / 294 / 1,498 and fifth saw Stuart Rushton with 1,315 / 168 / 1,483. High Game went to Steven D Thornton, who shot 290 in game 2 in his 1,268 / 96 / 1,364.
Women – Liz Eyre took the women’s honours winning the women’s division with 1,024 scratch + 246 handicap for 1,270 total.. Second was Denise Dyke with 1,072 / 168 / 1,240, third was Elaine Davey with 1,068 / 168 / 1,236, fourth was Gaye McCully with 1,201 / 30 / 1,231 and fifth was Linda Pray with 1,051 / 180 / 1,231. The women’s high game went to Carol Brock who shot 249 in game 4 of her 1,091 / 132 / 1,223.
