The Northern & Southern Junior Challenges (U150) 2024 – A YBE Endeavour Tour 2024 Event

The North & South Junior Challenges (U150) 2024 took place on 3 March 2024 at Ashby Bowl and Rochester Bowl respectively.

Scores for both the North and South Events are below. Medals were awarded to1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each division.

Division C: Bowlers with an average between 126 – 150
Division D: Bowlers with an average between 101 – 125
Division E: Bowlers with an average between 0 – 100

NORTH EVENT

“96 bowlers travelled to Ashby bowl in Scunthorpe for this years Northern Junior Challenge.

“In Division E, Travis Bullock from Excell finished third with 376, followed by Sam Todd of Scunthorpe with 383. First place went to Becky Westhead of Ashby with 394.

“Div D saw George Caris of Ashby third with 454, second was Tyler Tansley of Barnsley with 481 and the winner was Alex Loughenbury from Huddersfield with 502.

“Div C had Tyler Strong from Scunthorpe third with 526, closely followed by last minute replacement Charlotte Jeromson from Barnsley two pins in front with 528, and in first place Xander Flinders from Kimberworth just 4 more pins on 532.

“Big thanks to Ashby bowl for a great weekend, we’ll be back. Also big thanks to Thomas Grose for live sttreaming the event on Riding the ditch.”
