Following careful consideration, and consultation with our squad members, the BTBA and Team England have decided that we will not be sending a team to the World Championships in Kuwait in October.
The cost of this event is extremely high and with limited funds available to our squad members, we are unable to achieve the amount of money required in order to attend. As the National Governing Body of our Sport, we are disappointed that we have had to make this decision but at a time when the cost of living is so high, we have to put our bowlers’ wellbeing first.
