Earlier this year, we launched a brand new members’ benefit agreement with Tastecard and have given this benefit to all of our Supporter, Standard and International Gold Members who have renewed since 1stJune 2019.
To date, we have sent out just over 2,000 redemption codes to our members but currently, only 754 of those have been redeemed. That means that there are still 1250 of you who haven’t redeemed your code. If you believe that you have not been sent a code, please drop an email to admin@btba.org.ukand a copy will be resent to you.
So far the most popular restaurants are Frankie & Benny’s and Beefeater, but the discounts don’t stop there. Your Tastecard can also be used at Pizza Express, Zizzi’s, Byron Burger, Bella Italia and Chiquito’s to name a few.
For those members who have been using their Tastecard, the average restaurant saving is £21.49 which is currently above the advertised average so you guys are fully taking advantage of your cards!! This also means that in 1 restaurant visit, you have almost paid for your membership for the year in savings.
If you have received a code but already have a Tastecard from another source, you can always gift the code to someone else, a relative or a friend. It does not have to be the person who purchased the membership!

Supporter Membership
During the year, we have also introduced a brand-new membership level call the Supporter Member. This allows non-bowlers the opportunity to support the Association, as well as receive the exciting new Tastecard benefit. Members will also receive an exclusive Membership card and have access to the latest news and information from National Council. All of this for just £10.00 per year. With Christmas fast approaching, this could be the perfect thing to get that person who you struggle to buy for every year.
What’s more, for every new fully paid up Supporter member, we will be giving their Local Association a rebate of £1.50.
