Kedddie & Oakley win BTBA Tenpintour 2026 Stop 8 Airport Bowl

Stop 8 of the BTBA Tenpintour 2026 took place at Airport Bowl on 22/23 August 2026 and saw 71 Senior men and 28 Senior women take part.

Note: The Tenpintour is a Seniors tour with handicap scores. Total Scores & Total Pinfalls quoted below are inclusive of handicap, however the averages are event averages and are therefore scratch.

Men – Alan Keddie The men’s division of the TPT at Airport never fails to impress – Even shock at times! The top-five men recorded a total of 25 honour games out of the available 30 played. Continuing down the scoresheet there are dozens more…

Taking his deserved 1st place, Keddie also took the men’s Tournament High Game with 280 in game 5, and the Tournament Men’s High Series with 1,489, finishing 1,489 + 90 = 1,579 hcap /248 event avg. A ‘low game’ of 229 in game 3 was literally a ‘blip’.. In close 2nd place was Harald Grau with 6 honours above 212 with 1,345 + 174 = 1,519 / 224 and in 3rd Clive Mitchell how recorded 3 honours in his 1,208 + 300 = 1,508 /201. 4th was Tom Flynn with 4 honours above 202 in his 1,193 +288 = 1,481 /199 and 5th Michael Plant with 4 honours above 205 for a closing 1,247 + 222 = 1,469 / 208.

Women – Kim Oakley may have been heard whispering ‘hold my glass’ as she saw Keddie ‘tearing it up’ and herself recorded 5 honor games above 210, including the Women’s High Game 258 and Women’s High Series 1,337 as she took pole position with 1,337 + 6 = 1,343 hcap + 223 event avg. 2nd place saw Debbie Payne have a steady set for 1,036 + 288 = 1,324 / 173, and in 3rd place Bev Smitheram with two honours in her 1,138 +150= 1,288 /190. Elaine Davey was 4th with a 3 honour games above 200 in her 1,125 + 144 = 1,269 / 188 and in 5th was Liz Eyre, a 218 honour game capping a varied set of 1,030 + 234 = 1,264 /172.

Alan Keddie recorded both the men’s High Game of 280 and the men’s High Series of 1,489 (scr.). The women’s High Game of 258 and High Series of 1,337 (scr.) were both recorded by Kim Oakley.
