The North of England Diamond Trios took place on 8 & 9 July 2023 at Barnsley Bowl.
132 youth athletes competed over nine (9) games of bowling – 3 singles, 3 doubles and 3 trios in mixed divisions by average:
- Singles – Div 1, Up to 125 / Div 2, 126 to 165 / Div 3, 166 and above;
- Doubles (Mixed) – Div 1, Up to 250 / Div 2, 251 to 330 / Div 3, 331 and above;
- Trios (Team – Mixed) – Div 1, Up to 375 / Div 2, 376 to 495 / Div 3, 495 and above.
In play, Bowler 1 bowls 1st singles, Bowlers 1 and 2 bowl doubles, Bowlers 1, 2 and 3 bowl trios. Then bowler 1 drops out Bowlers 2 and 3 bowl doubles then bowler 2 drops out and bowler 3 bowls last singles.
