
Applications are invited for the role of both Regional Officer (Central) and Regional Officer (North)
As a Member of The BTBA National Council, the role will include:
- Actively engage with the National Council to update the BTBA on local matters. This may include face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings, telephone calls and using a professional email
- Promote the BTBA, grow our image and encourage engagement from members in your area
- Consult with local associations within your area to ensure that they feel recognised and valued as an integral part of bowling within the UK
- Bring to the attention of the National Council any matters of concern which are not adequately addressed
- Be a champion for the sport of Ten Pin Bowling within your area
- Effectively build and manage relationships within your area, including with proprietors, members and local association officers
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Membership Services and plan for the future of the Memberships Team
- Submit regular reports on your activities and the impact they have had within your area
- Take part in disciplinary proceedings or complaints against BTBA members in line with the formal complaint’s procedures
- Advise your local associations on the rules, policies and procedures of the BTBA
