Dan Harding

“For real though, it would be a great achievement to win a medal and would be something that I will remember for a lifetime and will open many opportunities for me in the future and be remembered like Hadley and Curtis when they won their medal.”

Charlie Upton

“It would mean a lot to me to win a medal at EYC because it has been my dream to compete at the European level and to win a medal would mean so much.”

Frank Stephenson

“I know that winning a medal in Europe is not going to be easy as the standard of bowlers we are up against is so high.  For me it would be such an honour to win a medal something I would cherish for the rest of my life.”

Kallum Peach

” It’s been a dream and a thing to work towards since my return to the sport 3 years ago.  The effort I have put in has got me the opportunity of now competing for Team England. But I’m not too worried about that now, it’s all about performing day in day out to put myself into a medal position and I think we’ve got the team to bring home a bit of silverware this year.”

Izzy Fletcher

“It would mean everything to win a medal. I don’t really know how to explain it. Been my dream since I was about 10. So I guess that comes with a lot of mixed emotions and feelings with what it means.  I get to make my dream come true and I also get to make my family proud.”

Jessica Sillis

“To wear the England shirt is one thing, but to win a medal is another. To even be representing my country and to have a chance to bring home a medal would honestly be a dream come true!! It’s hard to explain how it feels as not everyone will win one. But even if one of my teammates wins one, that would mean everything. With all the hard work on and off the lanes that I’ve been putting in day in and day out, I would like to hope that it is enough to bring one home.

Millie Upton

“It would mean so much to me to win a medal at EYC, it would be a huge accomplishment for me and I’d love to make everyone proud.”

Yolanta Stephenson

“It would mean a lot to me to win a medal because I’ve always dreamed of competing at a European level and winning a medal would top off the experience.”
