“Wow. 2 days 2 wins. What a fantastic week this has turned out to be.”
Dom, a UK Tenpin Hall of Fame inductee back in 2013 has now won 8 titles on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Tour in the USA, to add to his World Championship Gold medal and World Bowler of the Year award, and has won more major titles than anyone else in England.
Dom spoke about 2019 being a year of hard work, reward and a foundation into 2020: “This year has been tough. I’ve had to work on my physical game more this year than any other year. It’s great to have good results and have it pay off. Now time to relax, reset and continue this momentum forward to 2020!”
Dom is also proudly serving Europe as the European Weber Cup Captain, an annual trans-atlantic event against the USA managed and run by Matchroom Sport and broadcast on Sky TV.
British Tenpin Bowling Association (BTBA) Chairman Martin Webster commented “Dom is the greatest bowler to emerge from the UK. To win multiple titles in the USA and winning another World title is great for British Tenpin Bowling.”
The BTBA proudly congratulate Dom on these incredible achievements, and for flying the flag overseas for the sport of tenpin bowling.
