2018 Senior Team England Trials

Entry for the 2018 Senior Team England Trials for the 2019 team is now open.

The trials give the opportunity for Seniors to compete for places in the Senior Team England squad for 2019. Both Ladies and Men’s squads will be chosen from the trials results. It is from these squads that we will then select individuals to compete in the major 2019 events which at this time are likely to be the annual Senior Triple crown and the World Championships.

These trials will give the coaches and team managers the chance to assess the players in a environment that will closely match the conditions that we are likely to meet at international events.

The document available for download below sets out the rules for qualification and selection and provides some of the details available around the format of the events, the price and some of the opportunities available to those who eventually get selected as part of the Team England squad.

  1. My mother in law is 87 and still playing successful competitive bowling. Do you have an over 75/80 etc team she she can try out for?

    • Hi Steve

Thanks for your comment. Fantastic to hear that she is still playing! We don’t have an age group team, but keep an eye on the website for details of seniors qualification process. She may also be interested in her county senior team, if she isn’t already playing for them.

Would it be okay to drop you an email?

      Thank you.
