The Victoria Commonwealth Invitational Tournament took place between 2 and 5 September 1994 at Victoria B.C. Canada.
Teams from Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Australia, Victoria and the Bahamas competed in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Team England comprised four women; Ann Finch, Jan Hodge, Shelagh Leonard and Ruth Molineux.
🥇 Masters Gold for Ruth 🥇
Both Ruth and Sheila would make it all the way through to the Top-16 Match Play (Masters), from which Ruth would star in the Top-3 Step Ladder finals ant would defeat Sandy Lowe (CAN) 186 – 150 and then Catherine Willis (CAN) 404 – 360 to secure Masters Gold.
In addition, England regular and BTBA Member Jan Steiner (in italics) also competed in her National Team of Wales.
