15th Annual Doubles & Singles Handicap Tournament (U20) – a YB Momentum Tour 2026 Event

The 15th Annual Doubles & Singles Handicap Tournament (U20) took place at Hollywood Washington on April 26, 2026.

Athletes bowled six games of Doubles with handicaps for total pinfall, and then the Singles scores were extracted for their Singles entry. All bowled in Divisions by average as follow:

Division 1 – combined averages of 351 and above;
Division 2 – combined averages of 291 to 350;
Division 3 – combined averages of 246 to 290; &
Division 4 – combined averages of 245 and below.

Awards were made for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in both Doubles and Singles.

REPORT FROM TOURNAMENT MANAGER TRACY ROBERTSON-WRIGHTSON

“Thank you to all the clubs that turned out today. A total of 83 athletes competed over 3 squads and most absolutely crushed it!

We’ve got some lovely photos of winners to share with you now but a full album will be uploaded to E.X. Comps Sunderland facebook asap with everyone who took part.

All winners will be notified asap, but I’ve also attached certificates of those that weren’t at presentation.

A special mention to James Burn from Lewisham YBC who travelled all the way to compete and scored a Personal Best High Game of 204! Brilliant! And also to Leah Robertson (Inverness) and Joel Rutherford (Murrayfield) for travelling down from Scotland for their extra dedication to compete.

Thank you to the E.X. Competitions team for a smooth event and also Hollywood Bowl for all their hard work behind the scenes.

We tried something new today – providing free of charge healthy snacks which went down well. I didn’t think it was possible to get through over 100 bananas and so many apples

! But this seemed popular so we will keep it going.
