Announcing the new Chairman of the British Tenpin Bowling Association

Following the BTBA’s Annual General Meeting held on 20 July 2024, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Geoff Brown as the new Chairman of the British Tenpin Bowling Association (BTBA).

Geoff brings over 50 years of experience and passion for the sport to this role. His extensive career includes representing Team England on the global stage and being an active member of the Senior Team England Squad. Geoff’s deep understanding of tenpin bowling from both a player’s and member’s perspective, combined with his numerous administrative and managerial roles over the years, positions him uniquely to lead our association into the future.

Outgoing Chairman, Lisa John, shared her thoughts on her departure, “As I now step down from the position of Chairman, I would like to wish Geoff and the National Council all the very best as you continue to move our association forwards.”

Geoff Brown expressed his gratitude, stating, “It’s a great honour to take on the role of Chairman of the BTBA. I will endeavour to continue the great work of my predecessors. There are many challenges ahead that I will take head-on with the support of a great team. I would like to thank Lisa for all her help and continued support going forward.”

We look forward to Geoff’s leadership and the positive impact he will have on the British Tenpin Bowling Association.
