Scoring Week 10 – 4 Nov. 2023

U22 Ben Needham or Manchester YBC tops the U22 men with 740 over Layton Palmer of Worthing Wolves YBC in second with 728 and Blake Smith of Manchester YBC third with 709.  Annaliese Parrott of Lincoln YBC topped the U22 women with 638 over Amy O’Neill of Manchester YBC second with 621 and Kaitlyn Lill of Lincoln YBC third with 543.

U19 Robert Weed of Worthing Wolves YBC led the U19 men posting 758 with Kyle McLoughlin of Dunstable Dragons YBC second with 731 and fellow Dragon Lewis Blowfield third with 692.  Ella Dunphy of Lincoln YBC led the U19 women with 702 over Yolanta Stepehson of MH900 YBC with 647 and Ciara Ferrigan of Lewisham YBC third with 646.

U16 Zak West of Norwich Falcons led the U16 boys with 718 over YBC mate Arla Warnes in second with 684 and Riley Tsylor of Lewisham YBC third with 679.  The girls were led by Esmee Corbin-Ellis of Worthing Wolves YBc with 699 over Ashley Watson of Dunstable Dagons YBC in second with 680 and Cian Morris of Manchester YBC in third with 621.

U13 Nicholas Russell of Airport YBC posted 760 over Dunstable Dragons YBC’s James Brennan in second with 733 and Freddie Humphrys of Barnsley YBC in third with 707.  Scarlett Anstie of MH900 YBC led the girls this week with 686 over Jessica Lawson of Worthing YBC in second with 678 and Ruby McCabe of Norwich Falcons YBC in third with 658.

U10 Mixed Lily Brennan of Dunstable Dragon’s YBC headed the U10 Mixed with 735 over Xavier Briggs of Hull YBC in second with 686 and Stanley Anstie of MH900 YBC in third with 669.

Scoring Week 9 – 14 Oct. 2023

U22 Dunstable YBC Dragons led the top age division with Josh Bland in first place with 747 over Callum Daley of Lincoln YBC in seond with 737 and Dragon Harrison Kropelnicki in third with 728.  For the women Annalise Parrot of Lincoln YBC was the only competitor this week who bowled a great 643.

U19 Jonathan Malloy of Excel Sunderland YBC led the U19 boys with 741 over George Moorcraft of Wallasey YBC in second with 733 and Jake Savage-Watson of Ashby YBC in third with 716.  The U19 girls saw only two athletes bowl this week, and Clare Ferrigan of Lewisham YBC took the honours with 665 over Charlotte Jeromeson of Barnsley YBC in second with 588.

U16 Norwich flew two Falcons in to first and third for the U16 boys, with Zak West top with 775 and Aria Warnes third with 710, separated by Kieran Hockney of Ashby YBC in second with 725.  The girsl spread the spoils out a little more thinly, with Chloe Birch of Chesterfield Spires YBE leading the week with 790, Mandy Pates of Norwich Falcons YBC second with 754 nd Lacie Brown of Barnsley third with 720.

U13 The top-3 boys scores came from Airport Bowl YBC – an all-boys affair with Nicholas Russell leading the week with 821 over Callum Milton in second with 751 and Carlo Volpe in third with 746.  Not to be outdone however the girls placed Isobel Holroyd-Nunn first with 693, Evie Busby second with 685 and Amelie Naven third with 676.

U10 MIXED Lily Brennan of Dunstable Dragons topped the week with 722 over Ava Tansley of Barnsley YBC second with 681 and Dragon Leon Mizinski third with 677.


Scoring Week 8 – 2 Sep. 2023

U22 Dragon Josh Bland took 1st this week for the males with 775, over fellow Dragon William Herbert 2nd with 728 and Blake Smith 3rd with 709.  Manchester’s Amy O’Neill took first for the females this week with 632 over 2nd placed Annalise Parrott with 625 and Kaitlyn Lill 3rd with 607.

U19 Lincolnshire’s Kieran Parrott bowled 712 to lead the U19 males over Dragon Cameron Brown 2nd with 692 and Morgan Crook of Manchester 3rd with 666.  the U19 females saw Lincolnshire’s Ella Dunphy 1st with 702 over Barnsley’s Charlotte Jeromeson 2nd with 621.

U16 Cian Morris of Manchester led the U16 males with 808 over Tyler Tansley of Barnsley in 2nd with 709 and Benjamin Winstanley of Manchester 3rd with 700.  For the U16 females Drsgon Jessie Canham led Falcon Lily-Mai Hammett in 2nd 691 to 678, with Dragon Ruby Collins 3rd with 670.

U13 Airport’s Nicholas Russell led the U13 males with 789 over 2nd place Robin Arthur of Hull on 719 and Dragon Ethan Nash 3rd with 716.  Ava Richardson was leader for the U13 females with 672 over Grace Hinchliffe of falcons in 2nd with 670 ane Constance Barber of Hull 3rd with 662.

U10 MIXED Leading this week with 712 is Zach Jones, over 2nd placed Thomas Lamb with 692 and Alfie Hobden 3rd with 684.  A Barnsley affair!


Scoring Week 7 – 5 Aug. 2023

U22 Dragon Toby Melton bowled 713 ti lead the U22 males over Owen Gray of Kettering in 2nd with 706 and Manchester’s Ben Needham 3rd with 672..  Manchester’s Amy O’Neil lead the females this week with 652 over Lincoln’s Kaitlyn Lill 2nd with 620.

U19 Dragon Cameron Brown took pole in the U19 males with 807 over Isaac Coles of Kettering in 2nd with 785 and Dragon Kallum Peach 3rd with 719.  Lincoln’s Ella Dunphy led the U19 females with 677 over Excel Sunderland’s Erin May 2nd with 610.

U16 Dylan Bower of Kettering bowled 772 to take first in the U16 male division, over Lewis Stevens 2nd with 749 and Dragon Alfie Humphrey 3rd with 743.  For the females, Falcon Lily-Mai Hammett led with 663 over Dragon Ruby Collins 2nd with 644.

U13 Joey Gooch & Wesley Jones, both of Norwich Falcons each bowled 695 & 678 respectively to take 1st & 2nd in the U13 Males, over 3rd placed George Jennings of Manchester with 642.  Falcon Grace Hinchliffe and Dragon Ava Richardson took 1st & 2nd respectively in the U13 females with 726 & 619.

U10 MIXED Dragons Lily Bennen &  Taylor Bonfield took 1st &b2nd in the U10 Mixed division with scores of 658 & 650 respectively.  3rd place saw Falcon Toby Hinchliffe with 647.


Scoring Week 6 – 22 July 2023

U22 Dragon Harrison Kropelnicki headed the U22’s this week with 770 over Manchester’s Ben Needham 2nd with 762 and Hornet Brandon Garthwaite 3rd with 761.  Lincoln’s Kaitlyn Lill was again the leading U22 female, posting 697 over Anya Malloy of Excel Sunderland 2nd with 563.  

U19 Ryan Fraser of Wearside topped the U19 boy’s with 793 over 2nd place Dragon Kyle McLoughlin with 720 and 3rd placed Callaum Hall of Excel with 715.  For the females, Erin May of Excel led with 716 over Dragon Jessica Sillis 2nd with 688.  There were no other U19 females..

U16 Jayden Hartley of Shipley bowled 751 to lead the U16 males over James Tyler of Norwich Falcons 2nd with 738 and Lewisham’s Riley Taylor 3rd with 724.  Falcon Mandy Pates topped the U16 females with 779 over Dragons Ashley Waton & Ruby Collins in 2nd & 3rd with 683 & 661 respectively.

u13 Charlie Irons & Tom Fairless of Hull posted scores of 701 & 694 respectively to take 1st & 2nd for the wek, over Dragon James Brennan 3rd with 689.  Also from Hull it was Evie Busby taken the honour with 722 over Falcon Grace Hinchliffe 2nd with 680 and Ellie Meluish 3rd with 679.

U10 MIXED Molly Blake of Hull bowled 713 to take top spot amongst the U10 Mixed division, over Falcon Toby Hinchliffe in 2nd with with 710 and Edward O’Neill of Hull in 3rd with 692.


Scoring Week 5 – 10 June 2023

U22 Brandon Garthwaite of Huddersfield Hornets topped the U22 men with his 700 series, over Daniel Birch of Chesterfield 2nd with 695 and Reece Proctor of Norwich Falcons 3rd with 665.  Only Kaitlyn Lill scored for the U22 women this week, 1st with 673.

U19 Dunstable Dragons appeared twice in 1st and 3rd place around Caleb Bailey from Huddersfield Hornets 2nd.  Kallum 1st with 736, Caleb 2nd with 711 and Luke Bales 3rd with 689.  Jessica Sillis, Dunstable Dragons was 1st with 656 over Sinead Naven of Huddersfield Hornet 2nd with 649 and Ella Dunphy from Lincol YBC 3rd with 635.

U16 Alfie Humphrey of Dunstable Dragons took 1st with 791 over Lincoln YBC’s Liam Newman 2nd with 748 and clubmate Leo Cursons 3rd with 665.  Chloe Birch and Summer Dodson returned to take 1st and 2nd respectively with 730 and 716 over Mandy Pates of Norwich Falcons 3rd with 662.

U13 Bobby Layton of Chesterfield took 1st with 811 over Wesley Jones of Norwich Falcons 2nd with 732 and Robin Arthur of Hull 3rd with 698.   Holly Birch of Chesterfied took pole position with 699 over Evie Busby of Hull 2nd with 695 and Grace Hinchliffe of Norwich Falcons 3rd with 689.

U10 MIXED Olivia Richardson and Lily Brennan of Dunsable Dragons took 1st and 2nd respectivey with 734 and 708, whilst Molly Blake of Hull took 3rd with 697.


Scoring Week 4 – 27 May 2023

U22 Chris Hutt of Wallasey posted his high score 772 to lead the U22 men this week, over William Herbert 2nd with 723 and Josh Bland 3rd with 705, both from Dunstable Dragons.  Kaitlyn Lil led the women with 643 over Annalise Parrott 2nd with 630.

U19 George Moorcroft’s 740 ensured Wallasey also took the honours for the U19 men, over Ryan Smith of Shipley 2nd with 716 and Kyle of Dunstable Dragons 3rd with 707.  Ella Dunphy of Lincoln led the women with 744 just ahead of Sinead Naven of Huddersfield Hornets 2nd with 743 and Holly Gibbons of Wallasey 3rd with 735.  Although not Top-3 another close one in 4th as Holly pipped Jess Sillis by a single pin, with Jess scoring 734.

U16 A lot of scores returned for the U16 boys with Sam Sandy of Hull reporting 790 in 1st, Jake McNamara of Wallasey 2nd with 703 and Ashton Thompson of Norwich Falcons 3rd with 696.  For the girls Mandy Pates of Norwich Falcons led with 756 over Jessie Canham 2nd with 680 and Ashley Watson 3rd with 621, both Dunstable Dragons.

U13 Olly Stephenson of Shipley led this week with 757 over ‘Dragon’ Brandon Antoniou 2nd with 744 and Shipley club mate Toby Lomax 3rd with 733.

U10 Mixed Lily Brennan of Dunstable Dragons posted her high score of 739 to lead the U10 Mixed over Molly Blake of Hull 2nd with 696 and Sebastian Gascoyne of Huddersfield Hornets 3rd with 685

U22 William Huntley took top mens honours from Week 03 with 740 over Jon Frear-Binns second with 718 and Josh Bland third with 709.  Nikkita Truslove took top women’s honours with 724 over Kaitlyn Lill tied-second with Amy O’Neill with 657.

U19 Frank Stephenson leads the U19 boys with 701 over Harry Lee second with 672 and Morgan Crook third with 656.  Sienna Biscoe leads the U19 girls with 752 over Annalise Parrott second with 691 and Ella Dunphy third with 645 and 

U16 Tied-leaders of the U16 boys were Charlie Turner and Joshua Fearn with 756 over Josh McLoughlin this with 712.  Aaliyah Lewis led the U16 girls with 766 over Cian Morris second with 703 and Evie Skipping third with 686.

U13 Nathan Chandler bowled 833 to lead the U13 boys this week over Luke Gowland second with 720 and Carlo Volpe third with 705.  Isabelle Graves heads the U13 girls this week with 740 over Grace Hinchcliffe second with 708 and Alanna Rose third with 707.

U10 Mixed Bastion Brear continues top-form with a 769 over Harrison Devlin second with 704 and Olivia Richardson third with 670.


Scoring Week 2 – 11 Mar. 2023

U22 Joshua Streak took top mens spot after scoring week 2 with 873, with Ewan Biscoe 2nd with 775 (up 74 pins on week 1) and Layton Palmer 3rd with 757.  female: Amy O’Neill took top women’s honours this week as the only U22 entry, adding 1 pin to week 1’s 599.

U19 847 saw Harrison O’Donnell 1st boy with +148 on week 1, Isaac Coles 2nd with 758, and Miles Winskill going +99 over week 1 in 3rd with 95.  Caitlin Brown added +18 to week 1 for a girls leading 728, with Sienna Biscoe posting her first VHS2023 score of 695 in second and Chloe Peralta in 3rd with 677.

U16 Charlie Turner went +71 on week 1 for 791 and 1st for the boys, Ryan Roberts went +135 on week 1 to place 2nd with 780 and Jerald Villegas posted is first for 2023 with 728 and 3rd. For the girls Grace Thomis took top spot with 813, some +104 on week 1, whilst Abbie Rose entered her 1st score of 2023, 734 for 2nd and Kira Weed took 3rd place with +12 on week 1.

U13 Zach Brear was top U13 boy with 770 (+21).  George Layton went +23 in second with 764 and Marcus Gascoyne went +75 to take 3rd with 751.  The girls Top3 were all first time submissions in the 2023 VHS and placed 1st Amelia Thomas-Kennedy 1st 738, Alanna Rose 2bd 671 and Robyn Folkord 3rd 671.

U10 Mixed – Jolan Byrom bowled an opening 778 to take 1st, Frankie Beasley bowled +19 in 2nd with 657 and Charlotte Metcalfe was 3rd with +33 on week 1 for 654.


Scoring Week 1 – 4 Feb. 2023

U22 The opening week of this years VHS Tournament saw Kurtis Wong and Izzy Fletcher leading the U22s mens & women’s divisions with 852 & 752 respectively.  Ben Robinson placed 2nd with 816 and Josh Mann 3rd with 753, whilst Amy O’Neill was 2nd with 599 in the women’s division.

U19 Luke Trigg bowled 832 and Eleanor Christopher 757 to start the season top for the U19s mens & women’s divisions respectively, with Astin Dean 2nd with 807 and Isaac Coles 3rd with 779,  whilst Erin May was 2nd with 716 and Caitlin Brown was 3rd with 710.

U16 Alfie Bowdery was top boy with 758, Ben Westly 2nd with 732 and Callum Taylor 3rd with 723.  Evie Skippins was top girl on 741, Taylor Rees 2nd with 732 and Mandy Pates 3rd with 719.

U13 Zach Brear was top boy with 750, Jack Stanton 2nd with 703 and Henry Hinchliffe 3rd with 608.  Millie Hughes was top girl with 729, Jessica Lawson 2nd with 665 and Lacey White 3rd with 600.

U10 Mix Bastion  Brear was top with 755, Toby Hinchcliffe 2nd with 733 and Isobel Nunn 3rd with685.


About the 2023 VHS Tournament


Following on from the success of the 2021 Virtual High Series Tournament (VHS), YBE are pleased to run it again during 2023!

From now until the end of 2023 during regular YBC sessions, athletes can submit their YBC three-game scratch series score into the VHS2023 Tournament.

This is a free to enter tournament with prizes, including a fantastic winner’s jersey from Official Clothing Partner to the BTBA, Mint Sportswear!

We will shorty be adding prizes for 2nd and 3rd placed athletes as well!

Athletes will compete in boys and girls age divisions, with handicap.

TO TAKE PART please speak with your YBC Officials who will need to countersign and authorise your scoresheet prior to entering it into the tournament, by emailing your scoresheet into the tournament Managers, Brian & Gill Parker (email on brigillparker@aol.com).
