In May 2022 the BTBA were contacted by the BBC looking for a bowler to take part in the long-running and very successful Question of Sport TV programme.
We’re delighted that Team England’s Adam Shrubb was able to attend and ‘fly the flag’ for our sport during filming, and that we learned yesterday afternoon that the episode will air this evening, Friday 14 October @ 8pm.
Adam, below, a Product Manager for Bede Gaming, bowled the 2022 European Men Championships (EMC) in Helsinki, where he placed a superb 64th amongst Europe’s best. Previously, Adam won Masters Bronze in the 2014 Mediterranean Cup for Gibraltar.
We look forward to watching him assisting the captains in their bowling challenge! Congratulations Adam!

The show is now in it’s 52nd series and is hosted by Paddy McGuinness, with team captains Sam Quek MBE and Ugo Monye. The plan is for the Captains to compete head-to-head in weekly challenges to gain a competitive advantage in the studio.
