COVID PLAN B UPDATE

Following the Government’s announcement that Plan B has been introduced from 10/12/2021, I wanted to draw your attention to some information.

Below is the link to the Government’s recent announcement that as of tomorrow, Plan B Covid Restrictions are being brought into action. For our sport, this announcement impacts our bowling centres. I am therefore urging all members to follow local advice and guidance as always, including any restrictions set out by your local Bowling Centres. The guidance states that masks should again be worn when not eating, drinking, singing or exercising in venues. Due to varying interpretations, there may be some differences between Bowling Centres, so please pay close attention when visiting different centres, as rules may vary.

I want to stress how important it is that you comply with the conditions put in place, as this will enable bowling centres to remain open and will protect our relationship with the bowling centres. It is with great thanks that the staff in the bowling centres will do all that they can to ensure leagues can continue during these changing times, so please treat them with respect and do all you can to follow their guidelines; after all, they are put in place to protect us and keep us bowling!

Please keep checking our website for updates on this topic, but in the meantime if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
