Cox & Dyke win 2023 BTBA Tenpintour Stop 2 at Guildford

Philip Cox and Denise Dyke were both first-time TPT winners at the Guildford Stop of the 2023 BTBA Tenpin Tour.

An impressive turnout saw 27 women and 72 men take to the Spectrum Guildford lanes in Surrey with a scoreboard again ablaze with honour scores of 200 and above.

Denise rolled a final game 6 of 235 to just pip second placed Sandra Simmonds, women’s high game scorer with 247, by 3 pins with 1284 over 1281.  Third place went to Sandra Boswell on 1279.  Kim Oakley and Carole Orange rounded off the top-5 women in 4th with 1262 and 5th with 1260 respectively.

Philip bowled a 226 and 201 in his set to win the men’s on 1570 over Ian Horrell 2nd with 1543, John Millen 3rd with 1526, David Bristow 4th with 1522 and David Crouch 5th with 1512.  Men’s high score went to Alan Meades in 17th with 287.
