Tuesday Exiles League saw a long held record beaten on Tuesday when Sandra Simmonds smashed the previous record of 275 with a personal best 298. Bowling at Hollywood bowl, Gunwharf Quays, in Portsmouth, and playing for new league champions, Fifty Shades, Sandra got off to a flyer in the first game of the night hitting the first eleven strikes but slipped up on the last ball as nerves got the better of her, leaving with her with a 8 with the final ball. Sandra went on to beat her personal best series, hitting 705 for another league record. As last night of the season games go – not bad.
