World Youth Championships 2018 – Doubles

The world’s best youth bowlers took to the lanes in Detroit to contest the doubles event in the World Youth Championships. This would once again prove to be a high scoring event with Korea’s Han Jaehyeon setting the tournament six-game record with a massive 1505, including the third 300 of the 2018 tournament.

Closer to home, the English duo of Jake Edwards and Thomas Nicholls finished 43rd in the boys doubles, with Callum Simons and Jamie Gore in 54th. In the girls, Katie Tagg and Mia Bewley finished 27th with Issy Allen and Sophie Thompson in 34th.

Full results of the World Youth Championships can be found on the official website at http://2018wyc.worldbowling.org. Follow BTBA Talk on Instagram for behind the scenes coverage by team member, Katie Tagg.
