It is with much sadness that I must report the passing of Jan Steiner.
Jan was a much loved member of our Tenpin Bowling community. A real team player, she represented Team England for a number of years, and was a constant fixture in the London, then later Hampshire, county teams. A great ambassador, her love, enthusiasm and commitment to the sport was evident and bowlers will have very fond memories of her smiling face at the BTBA Nationals, where she worked hard with her husband Dave to bring us our premier bowling event.
Jan’s passing leaves a hole in the heart of Tenpin Bowling. Our thoughts are with Dave and the rest of her family at this sad time.
